Immediate Opening: Windows Systems Administrator  - North Carolina or Atlanta, GA

Priveon is seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to join our internal IT Team.

The Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for advanced installation, configuration, and management of Windows operating systems and related toolsets, supporting complex enterprise-level applications, and providing technical leadership within the IT department.  The individual will also consult with Priveon customers as part of a delivery team to provide technical and best practice guidance, hands-on configuration, deployment support, product training, and project management support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engineer and implement internal and customer systems solutions
  • Responsible for Windows systems architecture (including Exchange, DNS & Active Directory) in co-location facilities for both development and production environments
  • Design and implement multi-site Windows 2008 Active Directory infrastructures
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange 2010 Environment
  • Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environment
  • Provide support for internal server infrastructure, remote laptops, application software and basic networking
  • Provide end user support for Microsoft XP and Windows7
  • Support and maintain system backups
  • Generate scripts/​applications as needed
  • Create and maintain documentation and procedures
  • Perform basic project management functions for both internal and customer engagements, including, but not limited to, project scheduling, project tracking and status/completion reporting
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Work efficiently with customer support team to solve customer issues
  • Lead internal and customer facing meetings both via telephone and/or in-person
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

 

Qualifications and Experience

Your previous experience will include:

  • Extensive experience with Windows 2003/​2008 Server
  • Recent demonstrated successful experience designing and implementing Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft ADS/​SMS/​SUS/​SCCM or other software distribution and patch management solutions
  • Experience with managing VMWare ESX 3.​5, 4; Familiarity with SAN/​NAS architecture
  • Experience working with IIS, SQL Server, Microsoft Terminal Services, SharePoint, WebEx, Apache/Tomcat
  • Understanding of TCP/​IP and other networking principles
  • Industry / Vendor certifications
  • Strong diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
